OUTREACH TAKE 2! - WED 11AM - 2PM GULLEN MALL (HELP NEEDED!)
This is our SECOND biggest outreach event of the year! Unlike last time when we were reaching out for Freshmen, this time we are reaching out for EVERYONE on campus. The purpose of the event not to only get their contact info, but to also invite them to our Kickoff Event the next day. Last time we passed out 400 surveys and got 300 contact information. That translates to 400 people know about the Newman Center and 300 got a personal invite to come visit us. Let's beat that number this Wednesday and pass out at least 500 surveys! That basically requires EACH person to pass out 34 surveys ONLY (If, like last time, we have 15 volunteers). I say we can definitely do that! Let's respond to our Pope Francis call to evangelization and be generous with our faith. Don't forget to wear your Newman shirts. If you don't have one, then we are ordering more. We currently have couple smalls and one medium to sell. They are $12 each. If you can't make it then please say a rosary for the suc!
cess of this event. Thank you!

Here is the schedule:

9:45am - Meet at the Newman and intercede
10:00am - Set up and start passing out surveys
2:00pm - Start cleaning up
2:45/3:00pm - Celebrate Mass

***NOTICE THE SECOND MASS, we didn't want you to miss mass while evangelizing. So, we will have a second mass just to accommodate for the people who helped out.

FESTIFALL - TUES, AUG 26TH @ 9:30AM - 2:00PM AT GULLEN MALL
This is our BIGGEST OUTREACH event of the year!! During this event different student organizations have tables to present themselves to the freshmen. We will have a table with surveys and candy to pass out. The goal of the event is to make sure that every single freshmen knows about the Newman Center. Also, to get as much contact information as possible. We need you to be the AMBASSADOR of the Newman to these new students. We will need people to pass out surveys, candy and possibly get to know some of these students. Bonus points if you take them on tour of the Newman Center ;). But seriously, your presence is very important for this event, the more people we have the more PRESENT we will be and memorable to these students. Here is a detailed schedule of the event, come to all or parts:

9:30 am - Come to Newman to intercede and prepare
10:00 am - We will head down to Gullen Mall to set-up
11 am - 2 pm - Reach out to new students to tell them about the Newman!!

If you are coming and have a Newman shirt, be sure to wear it! If you don't and would like to buy one then let us know. Please let us know if you are coming by emailing newman@wayne.edu.
